At only fifteen years old, Somalia's brutal civil war forced him to flee his home. With unimaginable hardships, Abdi's journey took him through refugee camps in Romania to his arrival in Melbourne...
Alone, without money, and without speaking English.
Against all odds, he not only survived but thrived, becoming a youth worker, a community development expert and an inspiration to many.
